Announcing the Launch of WILD: Women in Industrial, Logistics & Development

I’m thrilled to share some exciting news with the Reno–Sparks industrial real estate community. I have joined a group of incredible women as a founding board member of WILD (Women in Industrial, Logistics & Development) - a national nonprofit committed to amplifying the voices of women across the industrial sector.

Why We Created WILD

For too long, women have been underrepresented in industrial real estate, logistics and development, even here in Reno, where the market is one of the fastest growing in the country. WILD was formed to change that.

Our mission is bold yet simple: connect, educate and elevate women in industrial real estate, logistics and development. From Associates just beginning their careers to Executives leading billion-dollar portfolios, WILD provides community, visibility, and opportunity.

What Members Gain

As part of our launch, we’ve built a membership model designed to provide real value and growth:

  • Education: The BuildHER Series delivers practical knowledge on development, power, capital markets, and other critical industry topics.

  • Networking: Member-only events and forums foster collaboration and connection across regions and specialties.

  • Mentorship: The ElevateHER program pairs seasoned leaders with emerging professionals to accelerate career growth.

  • Leadership Opportunities: WILD members gain platforms to speak, publish and take on visible roles in the industry.

Why It Matters in Reno

Reno and Northern Nevada have become a key hub for industrial development and logistics, with more than 100 million square feet of industrial space in our market. As the region grows, so must the visibility and impact of women shaping its future.

Through WILD, women in Reno can connect with peers nationwide, share expertise, and bring national attention to the innovation happening in Northern Nevada.

An Invitation to Join

If you’re a woman working in industrial real estate, logistics, or development, or if you’re an ally who wants to support women in these industries, I invite you to join us. Membership is open now, with options for Associates, Professionals, Executives and Virtual members and sponsorship opportunities are available for our industry partners.

This isn’t just another network. It’s a movement. And I’m honored to help lead it forward.
